Polyurethane - PolyTAN
Polyurethane elastomer with exceptional flexibility, abrasion resistance, and tear strength even at high loads
PolyTAN has very good physical and mechanical properties, high stability with gasoline, mineral oils, and aliphatic hydrocarbons, as well as good ozone resistance. It also has high tear strength and abrasion resistance, which together with its damping properties make it an excellent material for many uses. Description of Polyurethane .
After production, all PolyTAN products must be tempered at about 100 °C to complete cross-linking reactions and settle internal stresses inside the Polyurethane elastomer. The tempering time is usually 5 to 15 days according to the weight, thickness and nature of the product. PolyTAN has very good resistance to mineral oils, greases, diesel oil and petroleum products. It has little resistance to benzene and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
